How to apply for YEL insurance through FREE.fi

You can easily apply for YEL insurance through your FREE.fi profile:

1. Log in to your profile
2. Click on the “YEL Insurances” tab
3. Enter your estimated yearly gross income and click “New YEL”
4. Confirm if you want FREE.fi to handle YEL payments on your behalf
5. Save the added information

Automatic handling of the invoice is an additional service, and a fee of €5 per processed YEL invoice will be deducted.

FREE.fi will automatically deduct the necessary YEL payment from the invoice and forward it to the insurance company monthly. Please note that if there are insufficient funds in your account, we will not be able to make the required payment to the insurance company. In this case, you will need to pay the YEL fee directly to the insurance company Varma.
